The Bahamas Institute of Financial Services (BIFS) is hosting the 19th World Conference of Banking Institutes. WCBI is a forum where the executives responsible for the education and training of bankers in their respective countries can meet, exchange views and keep abreast of the changes affecting their banking education/training programmes and the global financial markets.
Banking Education is directly related to the degree of relevance and additional value that they provide to the financial service sector. As such, participation should help delegates:
- Keep abreast of changes in the world financial systems;
- Understand the impact of technology and globalization on the delivery and acquisition of knowledge;
- Explore management issues in the financial sector;
- Understand major changes in non-banking education and training fields;
