Transcontinental Trusts 2010

Wednesday June 30th, 2010 to Thursday July 1st, 2010

Category: Financial Services, Private Wealth Management, Banking & Trust

Venue: Hôtel Président Wilson, Geneva, Switzerland

This year's conference - the 25th annual - examines the issues facing the international wealth management industry at an unusually critical juncture. Financial services have come under increasing pressure in recent years. More, but not necessarily better, regulation is the likely outcome. How will this affect private clients, their advisors and private bankers?

To answer these questions in 2010 organisers have brought in the largest number of international speakers this conference has ever seen in its 25 years. Speakers from Hong Kong, Singapore, the Cayman Islands, Brazil and the United States will all aim to tackle the big transcontinental issues at hand.

Plus this year world renowned economist and academic James Hines from the University of Michigan Law School will give the ammo needed to shout out 'Why IFCs Matter?'

This year the conference focuses on 4 key themes:

• Key Issues Facing Trusts & Trustees

• G20 & Private Banking: Can they Co-exist?

• Asia, US, UK & Latin America: Cutting Edge Strategies

• International Financial Centres: Crucial or Expendable?
