Venue: Ritz-Carlton, South Beach, Miami, Florida

The CCLW continues to be the premier commercial law event for lawyers throughout the Caribbean. Now in its 9th successful year, this year's conference promises to be the most informative yet.

"Advanced Structured Financing" brings together experienced lawyers Denise Grant and Greg Tan of Shearman & Sterling in NY and Doug Doetsch of Mayer Brown in Chicago to talk about project financing and securitization respectively.

"Current issues in Employment Law" features Dennis Morrison of DunnCox in Jamaica and Vasheist Kokaram of MG Daly in Trinidad, along with Marilyn Holifield of Holland & Knight in Miami and Brian Grosman, a noted Canadian author of several books on employment law. A full listing of topics and speakers can be found on the website.

Besides the high level of intellectual content at this year's cclw, the event continues to provide a unique and rare networking opportunity for Caribbean commercial lawyers to meet and exchange information and ideas.

The location, the Ritz-Carlton, South Beach, Miami is outstanding. An Art Deco hotel lovingly restored by the Ritz-Carlton company, this year's conference should not be missed if only for this fabulous venue alone.
