The 12th Annual Bahamas Business Outlook has been scheduled for January 13, 2003, to be hosted at the Radisson Cable Beach Resort.

Entry cost: $100 including coffee break and luncheon

  • Hon. Perry G. Christie, Prime Minister, who will give the Opening Address;

  • Hon James H. Smith, Minister of State for Finance on the Outlook for the Bahamas Economy;

  • Guest Speaker - Sir K. Dwight Venner, Governor, East Caribbean Central Bank, who will discuss the Short to Medium Term Economic Outlook for Small Open Economies such as The Bahamas and the Caribbean;

  • Vincent Vanderpool-Wallace, Director General of Tourism;

  • Dr Robin Roberts, MD, on Health Issues;

  • Reginald Lobosky, Attorney-at-Law, speaking on Labour;

  • Dennis MacKinnon, Principal, St Andrew's School, who will discuss Education;

  • Franklyn R. Wilson, Chairman, Arawak Homes, Royal Sun Alliance, who will offer us his vision: My Bahamas In the 21st Century;

  • Arlene Nash-Ferguson, President, Educulture, and Marlon Johnson, President, Small Business Association, and Co-Owner, Completely Nutz - will participate on a panel discussion on Small Businesses - Recipes for Success.
