Bahamians went to the polls to elect a new government for the next five years on May 2 and, in their proud tradition, they registered and voted in overwhelming numbers. At the end of the day, the Free National Movement (FNM), led by The Hon. Hubert A. Ingraham, secured 23 of 41 seats.
