The Bahamas, represented by the Bahamas Financial Services Board and the Insurance Commission of The Bahamas, participated in and exhibited at the RIMS (Risk and Insurance Management Society) 2016 Annual Conference and Exhibition which took place in San Diego, California from April 10-13th. BFSB promoted The Bahamas as a viable jurisdiction of captive insurance while the ICB was present to answer any questions regarding the licensing process and regulatory framework.
