Developing Entrepreneurship in the Financial Services Sector

Thirteen young men and women – students from secondary schools here in New Providence – made it to the finals of the FSI Essay and Speech Competition, hosted by the Bahamas Financial Services Board as part of the annual National Careers Awareness Month. Schools in the finals included Aquinas College., C.R. Walker Sr. High School, C.V. Bethel Sr. High School, Faith Temple Christian Academy, St. Andrew’s School, St. Anne’s School, St. Augustine’s College, and St. John’s College.

The winner of the Essay Competition was Shannon Williams, an 11th Grade student at Faith Temple Christian Academy, with the school also capturing the Speech Competition, represented by Justina Ferguson, a 10th Grade Student
